Sales Representative at Business Unit Surface Ships

Your role

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving business development and sales efforts based on the products within our portfolio at Business Unit Surface Ships. You will be responsible for business opportunities, interact with customers and stakeholders as well as coordinate activities to ensure sustainable business growth. You are here to generate leads, achieve sales target and we expect that you are determined, curious and have a passion for the naval business. It is an exciting and demanding role that requires strong product knowledge, endurance and high collaboration skills.

Travels, both domestic and globally, are required to meet customers, partners and stakeholders.

Your main responsibilities

* Achieve sales targets
* Generate leads
* Building strong customer relationships
* Interact with internal and external stakeholders
* Secure valid data in the CRM-tool
* Perform Business Intelligence i.e., competitor product offerings
* Participate in exhibitions and other sales activities
* Manage delegation visits

Your profile

You are a business-oriented professional with a strong drive to close business and strive to exceed expectations. You enjoy working with different aspects of winning business, from the initial phases to delivery. You have a flexible mindset and can shift between different levels of technical and financial details. As a person you drive change and possess the ability to lead people. You apply a growth mindset in your daily life and are eager to learn. Further, you possess a high level of cultural sensitivity, is a team player and is an excellent communicator with high integrity.

Required skills

* Strong sales leadership skills, with the ability to lead the sales process from prospecting to closing
* Preferably experience from international sales
* Works in a proactive and structured way
* Have an understanding of market trends, competitive dynamics and customer needs within the industry
* Industry experience from business development and sales or engineering
* Degree in engineering or economics, or equivalent relevant work experience
* Excellent communication and cultural skills, with fluency in English and the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Other desirable skills regarded as a merit

* Project Management or similar experiences of leadership in an international environment
* Other language skills than Swedish and English and earlier experiences of working in various cultural and international contexts
* Good understanding of Business Unit Surface ships products and services, combined with the ability to work with technical experts

Location: Karlskrona

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
