• Define a consolidated and balanced Vehicle Product Plan, Powertrain Product Plan, and Vehicle Related Services Plan.

• Manage and enforce the product project decision process
We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced member to a challenging position within Volvo Group Trucks Technology Product Planning Vehicle Related Services focusing Connected Services &Solutions
Main Responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of key market segment needs when it comes to vehicle related services
• Conduct and participate in product planning investigations, product clinics, customer surveys, and competitor comparisons
• Ensure R&D synergies i.e. reuse existing solutions if possible between Europe, Americas and Asia
• Actively pursue customer input at industry conferences, trade exhibitions, truck shows, etc.
• Spend at least 20 days per year in direct contact with customers through both formal and informal activities
• Prepare and balance project requests to the development organization in the form of project pre-requisites, in a timely fashion with regards to services
• Be responsible within assigned projects to clearly identify customer needs and facilitate fact-based trade-off's (features/functionality vs. cost) during design discussions in order optimize the product offering with regards to services
• Prepare and present decision material for PPL investigations and projects
• Develop roadmaps, plans and budget within the PPL network and support the Product Strategy work
• Align and consolidate commercial strategies, product/-service strategies into a product/-service plan
• Be a driving force in current and future projects to ensure alignment between product-/service plan and project plan in terms of scope, prioritizations, market introductions etc.
You are a member of the global PPL Vehicle Related Services management team.
Through your own initiatives and good relationships you continuously contribute to the Product Planning results in supporting the competitiveness of the Volvo Group Trucks product offerings.

Personal Qualifications
Education
MSc, MBA or equivalent.
Experience
• Suitable experience is from Aftermarket, Services, IoT, Connectivity, Business Development, Product Strategy and Planning, Truck sales/marketing and experience from product development and/or project management, for trucks and product related services projects.
• An established and proven network throughout different Volvo Group entities both in US and Europe is required.
• At least 15 years of experience is required.

The Vehicle Related Services (VRSP) group within PPL are responsible for driving support for enhanced offerings in the Vehicle-Related Services area for all Group Truck brands and JVs by managing the Global Product Plan and product Project Portfolio dedicated to development in five principal areas:
• Aftermarket Business
• Connected Services
• Uptime Services
• Product Support
• Extended Vehicle
