ASSA ABLOY Hospitality R&D seeks Product Owner for one of our skilled cross disciplined development teams that develop our new access control system.
We use Agile development methodologies based on SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). We work with product development from idea, concept, design, industrialization, verification and through launch. Our product development includes software, electronics, mechanics and test disciplines. The HW products are manufactured in China and are being assembled in our own facility in Shanghai, and are installed worldwide.
The team is in Landskrona, Sweden and focuses mainly on embedded software and some front-end development. The team co-operates very close with two other teams in Stockholm.
Brief Job description:
* Product owner and (eventually) domain expert for one of our development teams
* Defining stories, prioritize and maintain the team's backlog, help plan and streamline execution and ensure proper quality assurance for team's deliveries
* Work closely with Product Manager Hosted Solutions and support in program increment planning
* Stay updated on technology within the domain
* Work closely with other domain experts, development teams and contribute to knowledge transfer across teams and roles
* Support and contribute overall to the company's Agile way of working
Skill & Qualifications:
* Master or Bachelor degree
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from software development
* Good knowledge and experience from Agile development methodologies
* Good understanding of test development (Continuous Integration)
* Used to relevant Agile tools (we use Atlassian Jira and Confluence)
* Strong team player that can work independently
* Good guiding, coaching and communication skills
* Good understanding of the Internet of Things domain
* Structured, able to focus on details while maintaining the larger picture
* Very good skills in oral and written Scandinavian and English languages
* Travel will be required, mostly within Scandinavia
