hela Sverige Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate QA Engineer. The role will part of a growing and talented Technology Team and will report directly into our North QA Manager.

An opportunity for one creative quality engineer to join our QA area in Malmö. With quality in mind, you'll drive the customer experience of Verisure's market-leading alarm and smart home solutions forward.
In this role, you will collaborate with our development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality within various types of R&D projects. You get to initiate, drive and implement product quality processes within the organization along with continuously improving the processes.
You will implement definitions, benchmarks and KPIs related to product quality. You will be communicating and reporting status to various stakeholders internally and/or externally.
This is a possibility to define, develop, execute and document a wide range of repeatable tests, to assure premium functionality and performance of new products. This includes benchmarking and calibrating new product performance against previous versions as well as competitor products.
We will trust you to find the best ways to assure that our products' quality lives up to our high standards. Facilitating and securing CE and alarm certifications is also a part of this role.
You will be part of our skilled, curious and humble quality assurance team and report to our Quality Manager while working closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders.

Key deliverable
Define and execute our Quality Assurance per product with the input of Product Managers, and business teams defining with high precision what a high-quality product delivery looks like.
Key Tasks
Active at all phases of the project, including development, manufacture ramp, certification, field trial and post launch.
Development related:
* Align metrics with Product Manager used to provide a quantitative assessment of the product or service being developed.
* Ensure proper planning and execution of taking our products and services through all needed validation and certifications. Partner with the project team to define what and when we test key elements of the system, supervising the execution and prioritization of issues identified.
* Create and execute the quality assurance plan to measure and assess these metrics
* Provide design input to HW and SW teams on quality lessons learned from the field and how to build for successful test and validation.
Certification related:
* Create and execute the certification plan, including EN and CE aspects.
* Maintain updated knowledge on the regulatory framework across Verisure perimeter and act pro-actively anticipating any potential regulatory impact
* Build and maintain the relationship with key certification and test labs
Field related (pre-product launch):
* Actively monitor the performance of the product in the field, looking at data dashboards and incoming issues from operations teams in the countries
* Conduct 1st level root cause analysis and supporting HW and SW engineering teams with RCA, data and statistics in solving prioritized issues from our operation/field.
* Monitor portfolio performance, suggest corrective actions in the case they are needed and maintain a set of pro-active suggestions to be implemented to improve portfolio performance
What you bring
Your educational background is probably within electronics or mechanics, but software could also be a possibility. It's also a possibility that you have gathered all your knowledge from sheer work experience.
You have experience from consumer electronics development and bring knowledge about the manufacturing/production process. You understand product lifecycle management and have a well-developed analytical mindset.
You're a creative person who takes responsibility as well as decisions, and you're able to present and communicate your ideas and feedback in a suitable manner.
