As a Product Manager, you will have an integral part in ensuring we stay on top of the market and continue to enrich and simplify the consumers' lives.
Samsung continues to grow and is now looking for a Product Manager for our Smartphone Team. In this role, you will drive the Smartphone Product Strategy and guide our sales organization to reach sales targets and KPIs.
You will be part of a team of 6, with several other product managers, reporting to Oskar Smedstad. The team sits in our office in Kista.
Role And Responsibilities
The product management team is the commercial hub for the Nordic sales strategy and planning, with a lot of impact on the business. You will be a key component in driving Product strategy, by creating the Nordic strategy for the Smartphone business. You will need to analyze the Smartphone business and convey insight-driven guidance to the Nordic Sales organization. You are responsible for a Nordic Investment budget and a clear return on investment focus is needed. Taking care of the smartphone product lifecycle management from launch to stock-keeping unit strategy and End-of-life.
As a product manager at Samsung, you have a lot of touch points with internal and external key stakeholders, such as internal senior management and partner senior management.
Some of the tasks include:
Create the Product Go-to-Market Plan for new Smartphone launches
Optimize investment strategy and set investment guidelines for the Nordic Sales organization
Set local Nordic Smartphone pricing and margin structure based on Headquarter guideline
Understand the financial plan and maintain healthy P&L on model- and total level.
Analyze Nordic sell-out performance to continuously improve and optimize the business.
Skills And Qualifications
We are looking for a person who has experience from an analytical and strategic role, that works systematically and in an organized way. To thrive in the role, you should be a person who has good analytical skills and gets to the heart of complex problems and issues, and at the same time be able to think broadly and strategically. You will need to be able to present and communicate your analysis and findings clearly and effectively to top management.
We expect that you have:
Experience in analytical and strategic roles.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and comfortable presenting strategy and insights to senior management.
High level of business acumen and efficient way of working and prioritizing.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technology.
Excellent communication skills in English
