Our retail network will continue to be an integral element of our customer experience ecosystem and act as the physical and human interface of the Volvo Cars brand.
We are on a mission to take all the hassle out of automotive retail shopping and deliver delightful, value adding retail experiences to our customers which seamlessly integrate with our online offers and services.
We are looking for a Product Director Retail Hub to take lead on the development of a new, globally scalable retail portal and platform which is intended to act as an all-encompassing one-stop shop solution for our retail partners and also support Volvo agents and internal user groups engaged in the customer retail journey.
What you'll do
* Oversees the product portfolio and six product teams in the sub cluster "Retail Hub"
* Accountability for the build and evolvement of a globally scalable one-stop-shop retail portal and platform supporting our retail partner staff, internal Volvo agents and local/central commercial users
* Scope includes the build of the core platform and portal, shared user services and partner relationship management capabilities
* Take lead on refining the platform strategy to ensure the achievement of our strategic goals: optimize retail operations efficiency
* Increase customer retail satisfaction
* Improve retail product development efficiency
* Secure retail partner engagement
What you'll bring
* Contributed to the development of at least one global user facing platform
* Proven history of building innovative teams
* Experience in the development and implementation of user facing cloud based platforms
* Deep understanding of technical requirements like APIs and other platform components, Devops & Developer Experience
* Effective communication/interpersonal skills and solid experience in managing both technical and commercial stakeholders
* Ability to balance needs of stakeholders, developers and end-users
* Strategic mindset with the ability to manage long-term roadmaps while also having a key eye for details
* Strong analytical skills
* Someone who thrives when things are complex and finds a way to make things happen
