We are now looking for a Product Development Leader to secure Ericsson technology leadership and make sure we have the right scope, quality, time and cost for product development. As a Product Development Leader, you will teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations. You will foster a creative and learning culture.
You, as the successful candidate:
Have a curious mindset, is eager to learn and constantly develop. You have a positive attitude and likes to collaborate with colleagues in a team. You are used to work in a global environment with many different interfaces and stakeholders. We think you are proactive and will work hard to remove impediments that our design team will meet. You are flexible and can adapt your coaching/leadership style as it is suitable for the team and the development phase of the project.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Be a vital part of the Board Lead section, which is responsible for the design and release of radio boards in classic macro- and AAS- segments
You will be required to drive technology implementation and product leadership
Board release according to time plan
Secure a robust and reliable product via a good understanding of the design and planning for required testing
Drive your team through requirements, design, bring-up, verification and product ramp-up
Plan the team activities and secure alignment with other team leaders and the radio project schedule
Close collaboration with sourcing, supply and technical experts
Coaching the team and follow-up on deliveries and issues
Drive continuous improvements and develop new efficient methods to improve product design work and corresponding processes
Knowledge sharing and learning
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of science in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
7-10 years of work experience from product development
5-7 years of experience from leading teams
Good understanding of radio development and the corresponding challenges
Experience from electrical design and/or PCB design
Experience from SW-development is a merit
Experience from working in a team-oriented environment
Very strong Project and program management skills
Self-driven and solution oriented
A creative and innovative mindset
Coaching & Mentoring Skills
Customer Insight
Good business understanding
Excellent communication skills and fluent English language
