About the position
Do you have experience in product development, working with various dry tablets and capsules?
Are you looking to work in development projects where you are involved all the way from developing formulas to commercial products?
Naturell AB is now recruiting a Product Developer for its facility in Åkersberga, Stockholm. This is an opportunity for you to become part of Naturell's continuing growth journey. Naturell AB has a successful history as a manufacturer and product developer of tablets and capsules containing vitamins, dietary supplements, and herbal medicines.
The position is a permanent employment.
Responsibilities
As a Product Developer, you will work closely with the production team with development of formulas, up-scaling and commercialisation of various tablets and hard gelatine capsules. The role involves independent project management, and you will act as problem-solving and quality support for production.
Examples of additional tasks:
• Preparation of preliminary and final raw material specification of APIs, excipients, and primary packaging materials.
• Calculations of new formulations, including pricing.
• Implementation of new products and new technology in production.
• Optimisation and implementation of changes in the production process.
• Preparation and management of technical documentation, updating documentation, process parameters, analyses, and test reports.
Your profile
We are looking for you who are passionate about development work, in combination with the fact that you feel at home in working close to a production unit.
You have a strong personal drive and take responsibility for driving your projects to meet and exceed goals. You communicate clearly, adapt to situations, and have a tolerant way of meeting people.
To succeed in the role, you have got both an ability to be more strategic and to be more hands-on and you feel confident to meet both technical challenges and external customers.
We are looking for a candidate with the following competencies and experiences:
• A bachelor's degree, master's degree or higher in a technical field or scientific subject. Alternatively, work experience in a similar area.
• Three years of relevant work experience in product development and research from e.g. the food industry, manufacturing of food supplements or relevant process industry, for example Pharma.
• Experience of working with formulation of dry dosage methods.
• Experience from working hands-on with capsule filling technology or worked in a lab with formulation development of dry preparations intended for filling into hard gelatine capsules and or tablet beating.
• Experience in driving product development from newly developed product to commercially produced product.
• Knowledge of the technical aspects in the production of dietary supplements.
• Very good knowledge of English.
• Additional advantage if you have competences in so-called 'Clean label' formulations.
About the organisation
The products are mainly distributed on the Polish market by the parent company USP Zdrowie Sp. z o i Warszawa. However, a growing part is EMV manufacturing for well-known Swedish pharmacy and food suppliers.
The company has production and offices in Åkersberga outside Stockholm.
Naturell's operations are ISO-certified according to FSSC 22000.
