About the Role
You will help develop store interior products for global retail environments, taking ideas from brief and concept through product development, technical documentation, production readiness and implementation. This is a role where engineering, design and user needs come together, with a clear focus on functionality, sustainability and quality.
You will work across the full product development process and turn business goals into practical, well-designed technical solutions. Job DescriptionYou will drive product development from brief and concept to finished technical solution.
You will translate business needs and design intent into functional products and technical documentation.
You will create 3D CAD models, drawings, specifications and assembly instructions.
You will contribute to prototype testing, verification and preparation for production.
You will work with materials, surface treatments, production methods and transport solutions to support quality and functionality.
You will help balance sustainability, cost, quality and user needs throughout the development process.
You will collaborate with stakeholders in a structured way and communicate clearly in an international environment.
RequirementsBachelor degree in Product Development, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design or equivalent.
At least 4 years of relevant experience within Product development / Design Engineer roles.
Solid experience of the end-to-end product development process.
Strong technical foundation combined with design and user perspective.
Ability to quickly understand new product areas and technologies.
Ability to translate briefs and business goals into technical solutions.
Experience producing technical drawings, specifications and assembly instructions.
Good understanding of materials, surface treatments, production and transport solutions.
Experience in prototype testing and verification.
Strong skills in 3D CAD, including modeling, drawings and documentation.
Experience working in PLM systems.
Experience with 3D rendering tools and Adobe Illustrator / Indesign.
Understanding of circular design principles such as repair, reuse and refurbishment, with a life cycle perspective on materials, production and end of life.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and fluent English.
Nice to haveMaster's degree in a relevant field.
Experience from retail, store concepts or interior products.
Experience working with global suppliers or companies and large-scale production.
