As a Procurement Operations Team Member you will provide support to the Business Sourcing Team as well as to the Stakeholders regarding sourcing related issues. You will ensure adherence to Sourcing and GBS processes and the company 's guidelines working with e-procurement systems. This is a global role and the location is to be based in Gothenburg with the flexibility to travel to other office sites when required.
Main Tasks:
* Support the Stakeholder on Business sites on purchase related topics
* To maintain the purchasing process in particular for Indirect materials and services business needs such as IT services, licenses, HR and Marketing services in a timely and efficient manner
* To monitor overdue orders, process and expedite as necessary
* To monitor and report on supplier performance
* Maintain Ariba system in terms of vendor enablement, contract and catalogue management
* Pro-actively seek cost saving opportunities by analyzing current operations and data in collaboration with the Sourcing Manager and/or Buyer
* Operational involvement in process improvement projects and input to central led projects
* Support the implementation of Ariba in all Business site roll outs when required
Key Competencies
* Experience in purchasing with sourcing competencies or transferable knowledge preferable
* Preferably graduate diploma in Economics or Business Studies with specialization in Purchasing & Supply or relevant training qualifications
* Strong analytical competence
* Serviceminded
* Open personality being able to cope with a large number or contacts both internally and externally
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, any other language skills are desired
* Ariba knowledge and advanced MS Office skills, in particular Excel, SAP background desired
* Willingness to learn, practice new tools and being able to deal with changing environments (e-procurement, e-auctions)
* Structured way of working and professional business manner

About the employment
The position as Procurement Operations Team Member is a temporary position with start as soon as possible and will be for minimum 6 months with possible extension. As a consultant, you are employed in Adecco Sweden.
