Process-owner of Scania Financial Services Business Intelligence Tool

Scania Financial Services (SFS) is serving Scania customers, dealers and distributors in 50 markets through 15 business units (BU's) by offering competitive and innovative financing and insurance solutions. Over 800 dedicated professionals manage a portfolio consisting of more than 120.000 finance contracts representing around 58 bn SEK of assets. Furthermore SFS has built up an insurance portfolio of some 63.000 contracts. The aim for SFS is to become a true and integrated part of the Scania Solution Sales offering by developing customer satisfaction and loyalty while adding values to the stakeholders and customer's customers when living the Scania Experience.

We are looking for a Process-owner of our Business Intelligence tool, (FSDW aka Financial Services Data Warehouse), to strengthen our central team in Södertälje, Sweden. FSDW includes detailed information for our portfolio and will under the responsibility of the Process-owner of FSDW, develop into a unique tool for Business Intelligence supporting all areas of Financial Services (credit, sales, insurance, business control).

The position is reporting to the Global Credit Risk and Asset Manager and it is a part of the Central Credit Risk department (FKC). The person should act as the business orderer for future development as well as a coordinator in the development of FSDW and related applications. Within Scania Financial Services we have also a central IS/IT department providing technical IT competence which will support this position in the execution of business development requests towards Scania IT and on the IT side in general.

Job description
The main responsibilities of this position will be to lead the FSDW development to a stage of a successfully established Business Intelligence Tool allowing active portfolio management. The key responsibilities in this function can be summarized as follows:
• Business owner of the FSDW development project. Collecting, understanding and being able to present business requirements from all areas of Financial Services for certain sets of standard reports and reporting tools. The reports should support both group level as well as local business ones. The main responsibility lies in establishing a certain theoretical and methodological scope of our BI.
• Responsible for improving data quality and establishing data cleansing routines as well as identifying possible waste
• Coordinating and giving input to the development of statistical and mathematical models for portfolio analyses according to the business requirements collected.
• Providing business requirements and change requests to the SFS IS/IT organization for technical implementation
• Follow up on deliverables expected from the SFS IS/IT organization as well as from all SFS business units worldwide as well as from other stakeholders within Scania headquarter.
Your profile
You are a business-driven and highly motivated self-driven person. Experience from financial industry will be an advantage. You should be knowledgeable of the asset-based financing industry and has general level of knowledge of statistical and mathematical methods for portfolio management.

Good communication skills, including ability to lead in a multicultural environment and follow-up of complex deliverables as well as ability to structure and draft instructions/guidelines/minutes (project management skills) are necessary for the job to be well done.

You should be fluent in English, other languages are a plus. University degree in Business or Engineering is required and a relevant professional experience.
