Process Development Engineer
Do you want to be involved in significantly improving the properties of plastics? Are you are interested in working in an entrepreneurial company with global potential? If your answer is yes, we need your help to develop polymer processing methodology which will enable us to exploit the full potential of our unique cross-linking additives!

As a Process Development Engineer your main task will be to develop polymer processing methods, using conventional compounding, reactive extrusion and injection molding techniques, with the aim to adapt and optimize existing processes and technology to Nexams crosslinkers. Focus will also be on development for upscaling of production. You will work closely with the development department in order to test and evaluate processes, and also to produce material to internal and external projects. In addition, the role will include machine maintenance, which may require heavy lifts. As a Process Development Engineer you will be responsible of keeping your self and the company updated regarding new technology.

Kvalifikationer
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• MSc or BSc in mechanical engineering preferably focusing on polymer processing with 3-5 years of related manufacturing experience or

• Lower academic degree with >5 years relevant experience

• Practical experience of polymer processing (molding/compounding/extrusion)

• Experience of experiment design, testing and analysis.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• You are fluent in English in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you also master Swedish and German.

As a person you are curious and have the courage to try new ideas and methods. You have an experimental approach and like to practically test your ideas in the laboratory, independently or as a part of a team. You are analytical with high abilities to technical problem solving.
