We are looking for a Process Development Engineer in the technology area Powder mixing and handling. Is this you? If you are interested in joining Höganäs AB, please submit your application as soon as possible.

About the position
Höganäs is a world leader in the metal powder industry and the technology around the manufacture of mixtures is one of our core competencies. In order to produce the most competitive products for our customers, we work continuously to develop new and improve our existing production processes.

As a process development engineer at Global Technology, Handling & Mixing, you will be part of a team responsible for the development of several process technologies including mixing technology. It covers chemical and thermal processes, coating, handling of powders in transport systems, grinding or agglomeration of particles and fractionalization of powders by sieving to name a few. It is a broad area where you will work with everything from technology and process development to full implementation of products, processes, and facilities globally.

At Höganäs we primarily organize work as assignments and projects, which is why project management and participating roles in development and investment projects are included as a natural part of the job.

The position is in Höganäs, Sweden. You will be part of our Handling & Mixing team within Global Technology, the organization where our core competencies in process development and equipment design are gathered.

Your profile
We are looking for you who have a master's degree in engineering with an interest in process design. It is meritorious but not necessary to have a few years of experience from preferably the process industry as well as knowledge about the characteristics of powders and particles. But most importantly, you should be curious and willing to constantly learn more. We see you as a humble and driven team player who is not afraid to question established truths or contribute with complementary approaches. You should have an aptitude for problem solving and an ability to focus on details and understand the big picture.

You will work in an international environment but also in close collaboration with production in Sweden and therefore need to be able to communicate in both Swedish and English.

Working at Höganäs
We aim to offer a great and meaningful place to work where you can fulfil your potential and ambitions. We welcome all applicants and strive for diversity. We have a clear management philosophy, and just like us you believe that through collaboration and openness we develop as individuals and as a company. We see all employees, regardless of position, as leaders when we approach the challenges that the world - and we - face. In close cooperation with our stakeholders, we steer towards our vision of a sustainable society - and inspire industry to make more with less and aim to pioneer the industry by being the first producer of green metal powder.
