hela Sverige Futuraskolan are opening a new International school in August 2011 grades 0 to 9. The school is situated in the city and we are presently searching for a Principal to lead this exciting new project.
Futuraskolan are a well established, progressive educational institution and promote quality values in all respects of the teaching and learning process.
We are looking for an experienced, qualified principal with the energy and vision to embrace the best of contemporary educational practice and incorporate it within the individual students school experience.
The school will follow the International Primary Curriculum IPC up to grade 5 and the IB Middle Years programme IB MYP grades 6 to 9.
The IPC is an internationally minded, thematic, cross curricular and rigorous teaching structure. The IBMYP is a course of study designed to meet the educational requirements of students aged between 11- 16 years and the most important aspect of the curriculum and pedagogy is its commitment to student?s interdisciplinary learning.
Ideally the successful candidate should be experienced in these curricular areas but it is not an essential prerequisite. The most important quality is that the candidate is well versed and informed about leading curricular models and assessment procedures with the ability to be flexible in both approach and application.
