As part of the expansion phase of Imagination International PreSchool, we are currently seeking an organized, motivating and energetic leader to join our team and drive this project! A förskolechef med pedagogical ansvar must be ready and willing to bring new ideas and concepts to the school inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy.
We are a bilingual environment, so you must be comfortable and confident speaking either Swedish or English on a daily basis. We have two schools, located in both Danderyd and Solna, so a certain amount of transportation will be required, although compensation for this will be provided.
We are looking for a full-time employee to be in charge of the pedagogic of the entire organization, to start as soon as they are able, and who can represent the organization from a professional aspect. Leadership responsibilities are inherent in the position, but other job duties will include; developing our curriculum further, creating exciting new learning programs to stimulate the interests of the children, motivating the other members of the staff, and bringing a sense of fun and enjoyment to every task performed. Creative freedoms, continuing education, administrative assistance and support are benefits of the position.
Qualifications:
• You must be a qualified förskollärare, with proper documentation.
• You must be social, personable, and have team-building strategies.
• You must be able to speak both English and Swedish. Additional languages are a bonus!
• You must have a problem-solving attitude.
• You must be organized and able to take direction and delegate responsibilities.
• You should have teaching experience.
• Honesty and open communication is imperative!
• You must be equally ready to lead or follow in a team setting.
• You must love children!!

Imagination International PreSchool is a small organization established in 2009 and currently located in Danderyd. Over the past two years, our professional and dedicated staff have earned us national recognition as being a leading choice for International education within Sweden!
We are in the process of expanding our operations to include a second location in Solna, and are in the staffing stages.
