Job description:
The postdoctoral position includes research and the development of research activity within the framework of CBEES' profile areas. This may entail organising conferences and seminars, creating and maintaining networks, applying for research funding, and presenting one's own research in various forms and at a variety of venues, both national and international.
As a postdoctor, you will work within a multidisciplinary and international research environment, consisting of professors, research leaders, project researchers and doctoral students. You are expected to be present at the workplace, contributing to and participating in the centre's activities, such as seminars and workshops. CBEES is characterized by an open, exploratory environment with close collaboration between employees. The centre's working language is English.
The position consists of 80% research and 20% administrative and general duties.
Eligibility:
An applicant is considered to be eligible for the postdoctoral position if s/he has a doctoral degree, or has a foreign degree corresponding to a doctoral degree, completed no more than three years before the application deadline. Applicants whose degree was completed earlier due to special circumstances such as sick leave, parental leave, clinical residencies, union commissions or similar reasons can also be considered eligible.
Basis for assessment:
Applicants for the postdoctoral positions will be assessed primarily on the basis of their scholarly merits. Additionally, the following criteria, in order of importance, will be considered:
• Quality of the research plan and its relevance to CBEES' research profile(s)
• Documented research experience in a subject or area relevant to CBEES
• Good cooperative and administrative skills
• Ability to conduct third-stream activities
Position:
The postdoctoral positions are two-year appointments, beginning 1 September 2016, and placed at Södertörn University in Flemingsberg. As a postdoctor, you will work at CBEES but be employed at one of the university's academic schools.

• CV/Scholarly qualifications
• List of publications
• Doctoral thesis.
The research plan should include a description of:
• The research project proposed to be undertaken within the framework of the postdoctoral position;
• The project's relation to the CBEES profiles; a detailed description of these profiles can be found at
www.sh.se/cbees .
• Theory, method and material with relevance to the research project;
• The relevance of the research to CBEES and the general research area.
Please indicate in the application whether and how the research entails participation in or association with international collaboration. The application may be written in Swedish or English.
