www.slu.se/lediga-tjanster Arbetsuppgifter: To be responsible for analysis of survival of Campylobacter in surrounding microflora and depth analysis for example by WGS, PCR and resistance of the existing strain collection of Campylobacter, in close contact with other researcher at the section. The duties include all aspects from planning, experimental design, performing experiments and analysis of data to publishing the findings. The analytic methods of this research will be discussed and depend on the background/qualifications of the applicant. To write applications for further financing and be involved in teaching at the department are also part of duties within this position.
Kvalifikationer: A PhD in microbiology, preferably with focus on bacterial infections. The candidate must be highly experienced in practical laboratory work and skilful in analysis of different molecular methods. Also knowledge in statistics is highly beneficial. The applicant should have a good ability to work in a team, ability to work independently and personal qualities are also of high importance. As postdoctoral appointments are career-developing positions for junior researchers, we are primarily looking for candidates with a doctoral degree that is three years old at most.
Varaktighet, arbetstid
100% Tidsbegränsad anställning. The position is initially for one year but can be prolonged. A postdoctoral such as this is limited to two years.
