Job Summary

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is a business approach to support efficiency and effectiveness for how products, solutions and services are managed throughout the life cycle. The unit PLM drives the transformation of PLM in Ericsson and is accountable for both development, maintenance and support of ways of working in the PLM area. The transformation strives for a modern product data flow to enable automation, transparency and end-to-end value flows. The transformation will also improve product data quality and is a part of the Ericsson digital transformation. The transformation is managed in three dimensions, Program, Project and Line. The PLM organization interacts with many different stakeholders and organizations both within and outside the company. The organization is also accountable for the core process area "Develop".

In this position, you will be able to actively contribute to Eriksson's ability to get control of and improve the end to end flow. You will be expected to challenge existing ways of working, identify synergies and improve cross organizational behaviors when defining alignment points as business rules.
As PLM Lead - Business Rules Product Attributes, you will work in the PLM Excellence unit who defines and support development of ways of working in the PLM area. It means you will define and support how we manage our products today and in the future. From a transformation perspective PLM Transformation is one of the largest transformation our company have done in recent times and it empower you to be a key contributor.
You will work in a team of PLM Leads who will take strategic decisions upon how and what to align within PLM cross Ericsson.
Your focus will be to capture and analyze how Ericsson needs to align their processes to secure that we reach the wanted effect of improvements we drive from a business point of view. You will also secure that the business rules can be understood and used while developing and optimizing our future ways of working. This will be achieved by

• Expressing a few but vital common business rules
• Drive the analysis of both current processes and suggested improvements together with relevant competences
• Express system and access requirements based on the business rules
• Support the business to align with the business rules and common terminology for the impacted process activity

You will report to the Head of PLM Excellence.
