www.siemens.com/plm.To promote the positive growth of the PLM business in Sweden, a further development of the Gothenburg based part of Siemens Industry Software is essential. The role as a PLM Implementation Consultant will be necessary to further develop the PLM Business and to capitalize on the opportunity of Siemens Industry Software. As PLM Implementation consultant you will report to the Professional Services Manager of the Nordic Region.
Short Desription
Provide customer support in implementation and configuration of Siemens PLM products. Ultimately the Implementation consultant will become a Subject Matter Expert of Teamcenter and related customer software, future roles could include training, best practices, system architecture and integration.
Daily activities will involve interfacing with customers to;
• Install and maintain customer defined environments relative to Teamcenter
• Document and present specifications/requirements on performed work
• Develop methods and testing systems on customer integrated software
• Advice and development of customer best practices in IT operations for complex software integrations
• Advice customer on hardware related matters
• Support development of local solutions to interact with customer legacy systems Conversion of area/business concept work into methods
• Evaluate alternatives and customizations using the Teamcenter standard as basic
• Implement our solutions into the customer IT environment
• Specification of Teamcenter customizations
• Build up best practices and methods in Teamcenter Implementation
Required Qualifications:
• A degree in Computer Science or Engineering discipline with IT experience
• 3-5+ years experience of IT PDM/PLM related work experience
• Expertise (technical) in market typical solutions Competent in dealing with customers
• Preferably working knowledge of Teamcenter functionality
• A working knowledge of the Microsoft suite of office tools specifically Word, Power Point, Project, Excel
• Knowledge and/or experience in programming (C, C++, Java, Oracle, xml)
• Knowledge in database applications (Oracle, SQL)
• Should be able to plan and organize on their own, should work target oriented
• Good communication and business skills are required to support this position.
• English written and spoken
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills;
• Able to communicate to multiple levels of customers, peers and team members
• The ability to maintain client relationships, manage client's expectations and gather competitive information
