As a Platform Engineer at Zimpler, you will have full ownership of the projects you are a part of. You will belong to a cross-functional team, where you will have a genuine impact on the team's decisions. Meaning that when there will be a challenge or an obstacle, you will be able to overcome it together with colleagues that have your back.

To support the further growth of Zimpler we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our platform team as a Platform Engineer. Your main objective will be to help move Zimpler's platform and infrastructure to the next level.
Things you'll be responsible for
help move the platform forward with the rest of the platform team
help devs with troubleshooting
configure our service mesh to improve network resilience
perform upgrades, maintenance and general improvements
Things you are really good at
knowledge of Kubernetes & general cloud infrastructure
writing k8s controllers
familiarity with lower level components
solid knowledge of AWS
experience with Terraform
familiarity with Postgres and Crossplane is a plus
patience for staring at code
capacity for self-teaching
Our Tech Stack
modern micro-service architecture
infra on AWS (RDS, EKS, S3...) setup using Terraform and Crossplane
platform built on Kubernetes and deployments through ArgoCD
monitoring and logging with Datadog
istio service mesh
code self-hosted on Gitlab, using Gitlab CI
commit-to-running-in-staging time under a minute
infrastructure tooling in Bash, Ruby & Golang
And you are definitely
fluent in English
