Care by Volvo (CbV) is a new business program within Volvo Car Group introducing a new subscription offer in the market combining cars, financing, insurance, traditional services e.g. maintenance but also new convenience services such as pick-up and delivery and other connectivity services.
This new business model requires a comprehensive cross-functional approach in defining the new CbV product and operating model as well as redesigned digital landscape. The Enterprise Digital organization therefore requires a stable Digital Core with end-to-end process solutions supporting the Care by Volvo business model. Seamless, scalable solutions are needed for growing volumes integrating business information in mega processes including different line of businesses (marketing, retail, customer service, finance, digital etc).
What you'll do
As Platform- and integration Test Lead you are responsible for coordinating the complete e2e IT acceptance test from an integration and platform view for Care by Volvo market roll outs. You will take the lead and make sure that the platforms and system integrations are tested and always make continuous improvements. This means that you will:
* Align with Care by Volvo program test manager and contribute to the whole Care by Volvo long term test work
* Plan, coordinate, follow up technical test plans and sessions, secure and handshake with each product team on time plan, test cases and so on
* Work in tight cooperation with requirement specialists to secure traceability
* Align and work tight with test environment specialist to secure we can perform what 's needed
* Design technical test cases for updated or new features
* Verify that delivered solution is ready for the business users' validation in a production-like environment, using realistic data.
* Aim to improve our quality and effectiveness of testing i.e. increase test automatization
* Give your expertise on test at all levels, from a strategic to operational level to colleagues as Care by Volvo
* Cooperate, challenge and encourage your colleagues within Enterprise Digital
You play a key role in the test area within Care by Volvo implementation program which consists of highly skilled team members, as well as working in close cooperation with Enterprise Digital. You will report to CTO for Care by Volvo and have. The job can be located in HQ in Gothenburg or in Stockholm (requires travelling).
Do you fit the profile?
We think you have a university degree within relevant area, or equivalent work life experience, and at least 5-10 years of relevant work experience in the area of testing. You have technical understanding of the full e2e solution (holistic view) and also able to understand each application to a somewhat detailed level. You have a proven track record within Test leadership and are good at defining and determine processes and structures in complex test situations and identify while managing risks. A great understanding of Unit, System and Integration Test is preferable and you are a person that takes responsibility for delivery as well as proactive proposals for better quality. Of course English is a must.
