The planner will be responsible for the weekly and monthly packaging plan where he/she balance inventory against forecast and customer orders, analyze utilization, capacity, and incoming goods to create good conditions for cost-efficient production and service level. Planner have to take into account stock value effect of packaging plans and manage stock at risk.
The planner may also share/hold a responsibility for order placing on third party suppliers or production units and communication with internal customers.The planner is responsible to ensure system accuracy related to material status in close collaboration with the quality function. The planner participates actively in several cross-functional administrative processes aimed to support the business. It is within scope of this role to execute actions in these processes but also to work to continuously improve them.
In your role as a planner your main tasks will include:
• Ensure areas of responsibility is operating according to local laws and work proactively to eliminate risks to staff and product
• Secure processes are in place to manage a monthly and weekly planning cycle.
• Actively manage and challenge the costs generated through the planning process.
About you
We are looking for a candidate with documented supply chain experience (min 2 yrs) from a manufacturing environment with focus on planning.You should also have a master or bachelor degree within supply chain, logistics or equivalent. To thrive in this role you should be strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to independently draw conclusions.
Furthermore, we see that you have high degree of flexibility and openness to changes and ability to drive change and lead projects within the organization
Important for the role:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish
• Ability to drive change and lead projects within the organization
• Enjoy system-based work and have a good knowledge of SAP
