At Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions, we're now looking for a new Parts Specialist with excellent service skills and an ability to share knowledge, while at the same time driving continuous improvement of service offerings to our customers. About your job
As a Parts Specialist, you're part of a highly motivated team and your overall mission is to support Sales Areas when it comes to spare and wear parts. Tasks which are a natural part in the role are:
You proactively support the needs of Service operations in new projects to secure the availability of spare and wear parts when new products are launched as well as ensuring that customer documentation (SPC) is correct and valid
Manage the spare parts process in product development projects, including identification of new spare parts, components, sets and kits, set-up of item codes and requisitions, and preparing stocking recommendations
Keep up to date on the changes in the product/services portfolio
Maintenance of SMC Logistics Maintenance and Distribution System
Provide specification and documentation for components and retrofit kits
Provide spare part recommendations
Assist logistics and regions with solutions for alternative parts, interchangeability, upgrades
Handle the Technical Support Desk

The location is Svedala, and you report to the Technical Support Manager and this position currently allows for a hybrid working schedule.

About you
We're looking for someone with a relevant professional background and solid experience of similar work. Beneficial to this role is your ability to read and understand mechanical drawings of hydraulics and electronics. You're preferably tech-savvy and take great joy in understanding how parts fit and work. Working with global customers requires excellent English skills, both verbally and in writing.
With your excellent communication skills, you easily connect with people at all levels of the organization, and you build strong relationships based on honesty, respect and trust. Being service minded, you truly take care of the customer, interact with them and make others listen and understand. You have a structured way of working and learning new things enabling you to grow your expertise excites you.
