The Team
The Organizational Development and Talent Strategy Leader will be the primary HR business partner to the EVPs of our Nordic Global Trading & Market Services (GTMS) and Market Technology (MT) businesses. These organizations are on an exciting journey to bring buyers and sellers together in an open and transparent environment across all asset classes while serving as the leading provider of marketplace solutions and advisory services to exchanges and partners around the world. You will be supporting rapidly transforming businesses that serve as the market leader in the US and Nordic equities and the provider of leading products for exchange, surveillance, and enterprise Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) technology, all with a client first focus.
Your day will include
You will act as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor to the EVPs of the GTMS and MT businesses, and other members of the senior leadership team, functioning as the expert on people and organizational issues. You will work with business-focused solutions by utilizing your commercial mindset to help translate business initiatives into talent strategies and capabilities. In addition, you will be a key member of the People Strategy & Partnership leadership team, working closely with their HR counterparts across our global regions for successful planning and delivery of People programs and talent solutions to the business.
* Serve as a strategic organizational consultant to senior leadership focused on a broad-based and transformational talent strategy designed to recruit, develop, and retain the very best innovative talent in the business.
* Conduct due diligence and lead the integration strategy during M&A's and divestitures.
* Conduct organizational design to ensure each organization is structured to deliver against their goals and priorities.
* Develop tools and methods to diagnose and improve organizational and team health for Nasdaq globally. Design and deliver bespoke people initiatives to improve culture and engagement.
* Conduct long-term workforce planning that includes organizational shape, spans, layers, capabilities, and footprint analysis.
* Analyze organizational trends and metrics, and develop talent programs and solutions based on data insights.
* Conduct talent, capability, and succession assessments and development plans.
* Engage with our partners in the People Centers of Excellence to develop and deliver business driven People programs and solutions.
The best suited candidate
* Ten-plus years of organizational development, human capital consultation, and/or human resources leadership with exposure to an innovative business that continues to reinvent their business proposition.
* Industry experience is open with a strong preference for technology. Prior consulting experience and/or multi-company experience is strongly preferred.
* Ten-plus years of successful business partnership at a divisional/executive level, with proven success in linking HR strategies to the business
* Experience in a growing global business and working effectively across multiple levels of an organization
* Proven ability to operate strategically and have a hands-on approach
* Successful implementation of operational and strategic talent programs and processes across a dispersed region.
* A bachelor's degree is required. A master's degree, in a related field, is preferred
