Investments in wind power is an important cornerstone to deliver our road map and we plan, build and own wind farms in six countries, onshore and offshore. Within BD Renewables the department Generation Development has a mission to drive and support development of best practice O&M within Vattenfall's existing and future portfolio of wind turbines.
We are now recruiting an Operations & Maintenance Development Engineer.
Job description
In the role as O& M Development Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled team and work at the leading edge of our development of methods and processes and ensure that our best practices are described, developed and used in new wind projects.
The role's responsibilities include - but are not limited to:
• Analysis of on- and offshore operations as a base for strategic decisions by the management group of Generation Wind.
• Project management/sponsorship of O&M development projects
• Participate in new wind projects as O&M Manager according to the guidelines in the Generation Specialist handbook.
• Supporting Generation Specialists in the operational units.
Qualifications
The successful candidate holds a post-graduate degree, with 1-3 years work experience preferably related to project management and O&M knowledge, not necessarily from the wind power industry. Fluency in Swedish and English is a prerequisite.

This position is located at our office in Råcksta, Sweden. In September 2012 we are moving to our newly built office in Solna. The position requires some travelling.
