hela Sverige SF Operational Performance & Compliance (SF OPC) is looking to hire an Operational Risk Manager. In the role as Operational Risk Manager you will join the Operational Risk & Security team within SF OPC in BA Markets and report directly to the Head of SF OPC. The day-to-day activities are managed by the Operational Risk & Security team coordinator.
We offer a challenging and exciting position in an international team with a welcoming atmosphere. You will work closely with all employees in BA Markets, the BU Management teams and other key stakeholders in BA Markets, as well as with SF Risk Management at Vattenfall Group level. Jointly with your colleagues you will drive the ambitious development of the Operational Risk & Security function in BA Markets.
Main tasks and responsibilities
The Operational Risk & Security function in SF OPC is responsible for developing an effective operational risk framework in the four Business Units of BA Markets. Activities include;
• Incident/ events management: maintaining and developing current incident management processes in BA Markets
• Risk Reviews: Assessing BA Markets activities from an operational risk perspective through a structured risk assessment process as well as developing the risk review methodology for BA Markets
• Reporting: Producing and developing reports for different levels of the organisation
• Relationship management: build solid relationships inside the business to stimulate a culture of operational risk management
Jointly with the other team members in the Operational Risk & Security function, you will be responsible for and work in all above areas. You should be able to evaluate the effectiveness of operational risk management practices across BA Markets, identify improvement areas and drive mitigation actions directly through the organization. You are expected to provide advice on operational risk related matters and have exceptional people and communication skills to drive culture change in BA Markets.
Qualifications required
• M.Sc. in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or in Business Administration
• 5 - 10years working experience, with a minimum of 3 years operational risk management
• experience in:
• Financial trading activities, preferably commodity markets
• Business and risk related processes in the front-office as well as in support functions, e.g. MO, BO, IT environment and processes
• Experience from other industries in addition to financial services is strongly preferred; as is experience from large multi-national organizations
• Fluent in English, and fluent Swedish is preferred
