hela Sverige Looking for a great job creating games? Ubisoft Massive is currently looking for an Online Game Programmer to join us in working with Far Cry 3 for the PS3, Xbox360 and PC.
To suit this position you have a passion for creating games. You will work in a team of highly motivated, passionate and skilled game developers. Do you enjoy communicating with external as well as internal stakeholders? Would you describe yourself as creative, hard working, result oriented and cooperative?
You will be developing modern AAA Online game features, taking them from a persisted backend through the game engine to the user interface. You will work iteratively in tight collaboration with other programmers, game designers and testers; to design feature code architecture to fit multiple platforms and backend. It is important that you are a strong communicator, both verbally and in text.

Skills and experience:
• Excellent C/C++ programming skills
• Experience of writing platform independent code
• Comfortable with asynchronous programming
• Comfortable with working with middleware software
• Good understanding of Software Engineering principles, e.g. Object Oriented programming, etc
Additional skills:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience of working in large engines/projects
• Experience of database design for scalability
• Multithreaded programming
• Distributed systems
