You will join the onsite team as an Support Specialist and Infrastructure Operation Technician in Braås. Quality and continuous improvements out of a LEAN perspective will be essential in this position. In you daily work you will primary work with daily operations including continues improvement and preventive maintenance of the IT equipment and applications used in production at the local Volvo Plant. Furthermore you will get the opportunity to participate in industrial projects meeting driven by customer or Group IT.
Your main responsibilities include:
• Time critical support of factory equipment and applications
• Quality work, VPS ( QRIT)
• Responsible for 2:nd line support
• Configuration and installation of equipment and applications
• Support and problem solving of factory and office equipment and applications
• Project implementations into runtime
• Acquisition of and maintaining IT resources on local site

About you:
We expect you to have an IT related degree from university studies or alternatively equivalent work experience, and have 3-5 years of experience working in technical support. Your good knowledge of ITIL processes as incidents, Problems and Change and knowledge about infrastructure components like LAN, Server storage and Cloud will give you the knowledge necessary to deliver good results at your new job.
If you also have a good experience of LEAN and used to work in projects as well as you have good leadership skills you will in thrive in your new role. Furthermore, we see that you have previous experience working with customer contacts. If you also have certification in infrastructure area, LAN, Win Server, etc and local demand knowledge, request documents and knowledge about the PLC equipment in factory environment it's an advantage.
We see that you are a positive, structured person who is working with a high service level and like to work toward deadlines. Your proficiency in problem analysis and problem solving will come in handy. Your passion for IT and technology along with your ability to manage and drive change in WoW and Processes will give you a good foundation in your future work.
Important for the position:
• Three to five years of experience from working with technical support
• Three years' work experience from IT within manufacturing industry
• One year of experience from IT implementations/ change work into production runtime
• Excellent knowledge of computer hardware and software
• Knowledge of LAN and WAN communications (TCP/IP)
• Experience from working in customer contacts
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
