About the clinic
The ENT care in Dalarna has a regional responsibility with clinics in Falun and Mora. The ENT clinic in Falun has an overall responsibility for all inpatient and emergency ENT care in Dalarna. In Falun we have a ward with 12 beds, an outpatient clinic and our own surgery department. We have 24/7 on call duty at the clinic and we are also responsible for on call duty at the Ophthalmology clinic on evenings, nights and weekends.
About the work
Working here you would be responsible for the daily care of our patients together with an assistant nurse. We have patients of all ages. When it comes to inpatient care you will be responsible for patients in various stages of their stay with us, including enrollment, pre- and postoperative care and discharge of patients. We have some palliative care and in addition to ENT patients we also care for patients from the departments for eye surgery, Oral och Maxillofacial Surgery and hospital dental care.
Outpatient surgery is a big part of our daily work and when at full production we receive between 40-50 patients per week. The majority of these patients are children. Together with a another nurse you would be responsible for the pre- and postoperative care.
We work days, evening, nights and weekends.
