Nordic Nuclear Trainee Program
Nordic Nuclear Trainee Program (NNTP) is a unique opportunity for young talents. The program will give extensive skills and training for young nuclear professionals who are in the early stage in their career, and it will also offer a great possibility to build networks among nuclear professionals in the Nordic countries. NNTP is organized jointly by Fortum, Teollisuuden Voima, Uniper and Vattenfall.

Nordic Nuclear Trainee Program is the kickstart of your career within Vattenfall. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional and personal skills over the course of 15 months. In the Nordic Nuclear Trainee Program you will take part in workshops and site visits during the seminar weeks. Each position comes with a competitive salary and an excellent remuneration package.
Every trainee position is linked to a department within a specific business area and a working location. This means that each position has its own specific responsibilities and challenges and matching profile.
Your responsibilities as an Engineer Power System and I&C
Power System and I&C is part of the Business Unit Fuel, Engineering & Projects within Generation at Vattenfall. We work mainly within different projects with analyses. You will be a part of an exciting journey and learn more about our project activities. You will be working with experienced colleagues from different parts of the department.

System and plant design
Develop principal solutions
Preparations for decisions and procurements
Technical coordination and lead

Your profile
Whether you want a climate smarter career as a specialist, visionary manager or inspirational project lead in the nuclear industry, we offer you these possibilities within the Nordic Nuclear Trainee Program. We are looking for recent graduates holding a Master's Degree of Science, with a maximum of five years of experience. You are fluent in Swedish and English. Furthermore, you are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization. Of course you identify yourself with our principles: active, open, positive and safe.
You recognize yourself in the following qualifications:
Education in engineering physics with specialization in automation or similar
Good technical knowledge within automation and digitization
An innovative personality with the ability to see potential and development opportunities
Ability to drive issues and make things happen
Location
The base location of this role is flexible, either in Solna, Gotenburg, Uppsala, Västerås, Nyköping or Gävle.

Business unit Fuel, Engineering and Projects has proximately 350 employees who support the Vattenfall group with project management, project support and technical within the Nuclear field.
