At the Quality department within Purchasing, we are responsible to ensure that our suppliers meet our high-quality level as a premium brand.
This is us
We are a team of dedicated supplier quality engineers with different backgrounds that have a genuine interest in technology, enjoy working in an international environment and together with our suppliers continuously improve within the quality area. Our team is part of the Purchasing organisation and responsible for quality assuring our suppliers and since we belong to the Scania purchasing department we cooperate very close with our purchasing colleagues. This gives us strength in sharing experiences and knowledge.
Wh are you?
You have a positive mindset but also a realistic approach to problems. (As SQA:s, we hope for the best but prepare for the worst). You are a quick learner and believes that everything can be improved. We expect you to speak up when you not agree, even when you might be the only person in the room with a different opinion. That some people think you are stubborn is just a plus to us. You enjoy solving problems and learn from mistakes in order to avoid them in the future
We also see that you have:
• An academic degree or other relevant education is an advantage
• Fluent knowledge of the English language in speech and writing
• Swedish is a merit
• Previous experience in a global organization is an advantage
What to do?
In this role, you will be an important contributor when it comes to supplier selections in new sourcing cases. You will follow the suppliers through the projects and make sure that they are fulfilling Scania requirements and also monitoring the supplier's performance towards Scania production. You will also be a gatekeeper when it comes to introduction of new parts in Scania production. All of this you will do together with Scania purchasing, Research & Development, Scania production, and of course, our suppliers.
