www.sungard.com/avantgard.The company wishes to engage a senior and experienced Territory Sales Manager in the Nordics markets. Their task will be to build on existing share, to open up new corporate client markets and to widen AvantGard's market outreach and penetration.
Primary responsibility will be to devise, agree and implement a territory based sales strategy to actively pursue and develop sales opportunities within the primary corporate markets.
Key responsibilities will include the identification of potential opportunities, arguing the commercial case for pursuing them, and the full process of bid management.
Although the candidate will be expected to actively pursue sales opportunities for the entire range of AvantGard products (treasury, payment & receivables), a key focus will be on the sale of AvantGard GETPAID. This is a solution that targets the accounts receivables function of corporate clients so a good understanding of the finance function and/or credit control practises will be helpful. Someone with experience of ERP solutions (SAP/Oracle) will be likely to quickly understand this market.
The first year annual target expectation for this role will be in the region of USD 2M including USD 0.5M license.
The role will ideally be based in Stockholm but there is the possibility for suitable candidates to be based elsewhere within the region. The management of the AvantGard team has an enlightened approach to the workplace and it is not unreasonable for the right candidate to be allowed to work from whatever base they find most convenient. What is most important is the delivery of the target numbers.
