The resturants, in Ringen shopping centre, boasts kiosk after kiosk of temptation with the names of the countrys culinary stars etched above the takeout windows. Our aim is to serve world-class food with high sustainable standard by using organic and green ingredients. CAOS is an international restaurant from presented by Stefano Catenacci (elite chef for Swedish Royal ceremonies). Exciting smalls dishes with inspiration from all over the world.
Our ambitious is present foods with the highest quality and variety with considering best prices; with this purpose we have tried to update our menu in a regular base. It is very important to be friendly and have positive interpersonal personality because we seek positive stress which results in better quality.
Job summary:
We are looking for mid-senior chef with additional responsibilities in sustainability and inventory controls. You must be flexible to handle both cold and warm sides and cash register in case. You are operationally involved and responsible in the delivery and do surplus every day and manage the purchase and schedule planning. Hygiene is inseparable part of your job and you should be aware and ready for cleaning all parts of kitchen in daily basis and specific parts once a week. You will responsible for a kitchen where together we maintain a high level of quality for goods and service so we need your passion and respect for ingredients and cooking. We are open for lunch and dinner.
Minimum requirements:
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experiences in restaurants work
• Be able to make menu and be flexible with new dishes and recipes
• Have minimum knowledge and experience about sustainability concept
• Available during the summer and weekends for full time work
• Kitchen hygiene (dish washing and cleaning) included
• Can guarantee operational and consistently exceed customers expectations
Preferred qualifications
• Good knowledge of the special food and diets and food hygiene
• Have experience in inventory control
• Familiar with sustainable cooking style and organic ingredients
• A passion for utilizing organic ingredients and optimizing consumption cycle
• Understand and practice special food safety and have knowledge about food service retail experience
• Analytical, systematic and a good communicators with a convincing style
• Independent, flexible and can handle stress and be fast
• Neat appearance, organized and punctual
