As Mechanical Designer for Heat Transfer at Tetra Pak Processing Components we are looking for you, who can continue the journey we have started and contribute to the exiting future we have ahead of us! For you who love influencing technical development and change we offer a challenging and exciting position.
You will be a key member of the technical department, which develops and improves our World Class Product, the tubular heat exchanger Tetra Spiraflo. We are market leaders with a product of highest standard. Some of the areas the department is involved in include; mechanical design in stainless steel, pressure vessels, heat transfers and different manufacturing techniques.
As a Mechanical Designer you will work independently with development activities and technical investigations. You will also participate in our development projects as well as product maintenance activities and technical support for our existing machines.
You will work in a dynamic organisation, with a big variety of tasks, where you will have close contact between development, production, marketing and support.
You will:
• Initiate and start up important and crucial development activities
• Drive and initiate industrial- and mechanical design activities
• Manage Technical Investigations and support
• Perform simulations and Mechanical design in Pro-Engineer
• Planning, execution and evaluation of tests in laboratory environment and at field tests
• The close cooperation with our production unit also enables you to directly put your development to test.

You have a strong and wide technical interest and your technical curiosity makes you solve problems in a persevering way. It is natural for you to set up your own time plans and drive your work to closure in an organized/systematic way. You are a team player and able to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a supportive way.
We believe that you have a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar combined with 5 years of experience from mechanical design and development. You communicate fluently in both English and Swedish.
