About the position
A Material Development Engineer who will be responsible for material development within the field of electromagnetic application based on SMC (soft magnetic composite) and other technologies. As a Material Development Engineer, you will drive material development within the field of electromagnetic application based on SMC, including base powder, coating and component manufacturing process.
You will work together with process experts within Global Technology and others in the concern to develop new SMC powder materials with new production processes and to support SMC material production.
Your profile
With a Ph.D/M.SC or equivalent in chemistry, material science, physics or similar, you need to have knowledge about chemistry, physics and materials. Experience within R&D in soft magnetic material is a merit.
You are an innovative and result-oriented team player, well organized with experimental planning skills. You have good communication skills and get things done at the same time as you are motivated by conducting experimental work. Problem solving and multitasking are also considered valuable skills in the position.
