Peltarion develops an innovative head-to-tail platform for deep learning. We provide an operational AI platform for producing real-world AI applications at scale and speed. It is the first platform to provide fast, efficient and scalable production of commercially viable AI applications. About the role
During the fall, we are looking for ambitious and communicative Master students to be an integral part of the machine learning team at Peltarion (a.k.a. The Menagerie) while working on their Thesis. You will be working in a fun, stimulating and highly professional work environment together with our awesome team. Writing your thesis at Peltarion is truly a unique chance to work with some of the best Data scientists and engineers in the world. And last, but not least, these challenges are real-world problems such as applying deep learning to solve problems in speech, images, audio, video etc. which means that you will get the chance to put your knowledge into real context and also make a difference not only for the company but also for our platform and potential customers.
For each semester for the past two years, we have had Master students here writing their thesis at Peltarion. Every student is assigned a dedicated supervisor that will assist the student during their thesis work and share their advice and guidance during the process.
Examples of some of the previous projects that Master Thesis students have done here are:
Analyzing and identifying signals for deep neural network layers
Compress audio spectrogram with variational and discretized autoencoders
Learning to understand perceptual quality of generated text summaries
Who are you? We believe that you are pursuing your Masters in either Computer Science, Physics, Statistics or similar fields.
You like challenges of solving new problems, you are a fast learner and comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Programming is one of your strong suits and if you have experience from Machine Learning or Artificial Neural Networks then that is a big bonus!
