British Car Import Sweden is a company within Nic. Christiansen Group, and is the Importer of Jaguar Land Rover in Sweden. Jaguar Land Rover is experiencing a large increase in sales and many exciting new products to be launched in 2015 and beyond. Our office in Sweden is located in Malmö and currently consists of 8 employees, with a strong Scandinavian back office function in Kolding, Denmark.
Job description
As the Marketing Specialist at BC Sweden you are the local representative of the marketing/PR in Sweden and the link between Sweden and the Scandinavian office in Kolding. You will ensure that all marketing of Jaguar Land Rover is in line with the current national activity plan, international guidelines and local conditions and legislation. You will also ensure that both national and local activities and events are carried out in the best way according to the challenges and opportunities of the market. You will be based at our office in Malmö and will report to our Country Manager on site. You will also work closely with the Scandinavian Marketing & PR Manager in Denmark.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that language and tone meets both international requirements and local conditions/legislation.
• Proofreading marketing materials, newsletters, web sites, CRM, press releases, bulletins, etc.
• Daily management of Social Media (Facebook/LinkedIn).
• Provide BCI Online Business Partner with postings to the importer web sites and Social Media.
• Ensure that there is consistency between the importer's activity plan and dealers' activity plan.
• Cooperation with dealers about their marketing plans; regarding planning, execution and follow-up.
• Participate in the planning, implementation and monitoring of national events and activities.
• Support the Brand Managers regarding local marketing materials, extracts from databases etc.
• Daily operation of the national press fleet, including the booking calendar, fleet condition and services, material preparation and contact for journalists etc.
• Competitor monitoring.
Qualifications
You have a minimum of 5+ years working experience within marketing, PR and/or communication, from a business driven organization. Experience from the automotive industry is very meritorious. You have a good understanding of business principals and international marketing of premium brands. You have a relevant academic degree in marketing and/or communication. You have a structured and holistic approach, and you are keen to follow deadlines and international brand guide rules. You have excellent communication and presentation skills, in writing and orally. As a person you are positive, engaged, outgoing, accommodating and a team player. A strong command of English language skills and god understanding of the Scandinavian languages, is a must. We strongly believe that you have an enthusiasm for Jaguar Land Rover products and services.
