You will manage a part of Schneider Electric's Installation Materials catalogue screws, plugs, cavity fixings, fixing bands, clips, clamps, work lamps and cable reels. Your improvement and extension proposals will re-create our business and be the voice of the customers. And you will make homes and all the other buildings safer and long lasting by developing our product line.
What will be your responsibilities in this journey?
Marketing
You will
• Be the true owner of the catalogue - phase in & outs. You will manage the Installation Materials business by using deep market knowledge and co-operating with the markets and commercial teams.
• Tell our story to Pro and DIY channels
• Develop further the complete trading portfolio
• Transform Installation Materials product range by using your expertise, from a low internal focus to a recognized growth engine
• Monitor the Installation Materials sales, volume and margin in all concerned markets, by working in close cooperation with Front offices and Commercial teams and being aware of all decisions which could affect the business to be able to interact.
• Secure that the offer is aligned with company digitization requirements (e-commerce ready) and environmental requirements like Reach, RoHs, ...
• Follow market trends (building & installation), regulations and standards which could affect the offer
• Keep an eye on the competition to close gaps
Installation Materials development projects
You will
• Develop profitable projects for the product ranges, both in terms of growth and profitability
• Be the voice of supplier & owner of the marketing specification in development projects
• Propose ideas how the global product platforms could be used to achieve cross-sell opportunities.
• Contribute to the preparation of the required communication material.
• Assure that the projects are synchronized and aligned with other Line of Businesses (LoB's) in the Retail Division to secure cross compatibility and avoid reinventing.
Your skills and experience
We are seeking a candidate with marketing education on University level or technical education could also be valid in combination with relevant market experience. You have several years of experience in a similar position, ideally with work experience from large international companies. You need to have a very good knowledge of English. It is an advantage if you know Swedish, French or German. This position requires travels mainly within Europe. Expected traveling days a year is approx. 20. The location is based either in Sweden (Nyköping) or France (Grenoble/Eybens)
Furthermore, you are structured and with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively. You should be committed and service minded, enjoying collaboration and have the ability to see the bigger picture as well as understand complexity.
