You will be responsible for managing the PGGA sales team in Sweden with focus on development and management of demand side opportunities within grid automation. The sales team is integrated in the Power Grids Division Front End (FE) organization in Sweden and supported by the local supply unit. A bid and proposal team will also be under your responsibility.

As Marketing and Sales manager you will be responsible for delivering the internal and external sales budgets in Sweden in line with set profitability targets, while taking into consideration and managing potential risks. Based on profound market knowledge and good relationships with key customers, you will put in place a marketing and sales strategy with focus on growth in established and new customer segments and applications. You will ensure that the sales team acts as one team according to the common strategy in tight collaboration with the supply unit and ABB's account management. You will ensure that the team is organized, staffed, skilled, directed, coached, motivated and developed so that set targets are being met.

Ideally you have a minimum of 5 years' experience of sales and sales management from technically demanding markets. Preferably you have already a profound market knowledge and good relationships with key customers in one or several grid automation market segments in Sweden.

You are capable to deliver on set targets. You have the ability to develop and execute growth strategies in evolving and technically demanding markets. In addition, you are a team player and experienced leader with the ability to motivate, coach, develop and set priorities for a large sales team in line with defined strategies and targets. Finally, you have excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.

Our offering on the Swedish market is being provided mainly to end customers and system integrators active primary within the transmission, distribution, industry, power generation and railway market segments.
