hela Sverige As part of the Market Intelligence team you will work to proactively identify consumer and market opportunities and stimulate curiosity by generating and sharing insights. You will be one of the key players in our journey to become an insight driven organisation and building our understanding of the Swedish Home Furnishing market, competitors and customers behaviours and attitudes within. You will contribute with data and insights for overall business decisions, supporting the business planning process and strategic initiatives as well as guide the business and marketing team in following up on key performance metrics. You will work closely with our external research partners and colleagues to make insights actionable and identify opportunities for future business growth.
You will be part of the Marketing team at IKEA Retail Sweden and based at our Service Office in Helsingborg, Sweden. You will work closely with our other Market Intelligence Specialists and report to the Deputy Marketing Manager. You will contribute to grow IKEA by inspiring and enabling IKEA colleagues to make well founded decisions based on relevant and actionable business and consumer knowledge.
About the assignment
As Market Intelligence Specialist, you are a strong contributor to the marketing and commercial teams. You conduct prioritised research and analysis in a multichannel environment, selecting the most appropriate methodology / external agency to work with to answer the business question. You draw conclusions and gain insights out of data and translate these into strategic and operational recommendations. Ideally you have experience of working with different research tools and methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative research, managing external agencies to deliver high quality results and you speak both Swedish and English fluently.

About you
You have a passion for consumer analytics/insights and communicating insights to support future business growth! You have the ability to see the big picture and generate insights that are clear, focused and actionable. You are communicative and comfortable at presenting, reaching and influencing others across different business functions. You work successfully in teams with others.
You have 5-8 years' experience in market and consumer research and/or business planning and delivering strategic analysis of high quality. Additionally, you are comfortable in leading projects independently, from brief through to delivery of results, managing research agencies and several projects simultaneously. You have a relevant university degree and both numeric and qualitative analytical skills. You are data driven and comfortable using tools such as Excel/PowerPoint. Knowledge of the marketing planning process, metrics and methods of brand/communication evaluation is beneficial. Experience within digital advertising, social media and/or search is a benefit. Of course you are passionate about life at home and interested in home furnishing.

IKEA Svenska Försäljnings AB is responsible for the retail activities in Sweden, channelled through 19 stores from Haparanda to Malmö, a customer service centre/home shopping centre in Älmhult, and a Service Office in Helsingborg. We are approximately 7,500 employees in total.
The staff at the Service Office in Helsingborg supports the stores in the areas of sales, marketing, store communication & interior design, IKEA Food Services, logistics, customer relations, IT, expansion, finance & administration, risk management, PR & information and human resources.
