Volvo Group Trucks Operations (GTO) encompasses the production of state-of-the-art products for the truck brands of the Volvo Group. Within GTO, Software and Electrical you will be part of a global and diverse team of highly skilled professionals who work with passion, trust and embrace change to stay ahead.
We are now looking for a Manufacturing Technology Manager (MTM) within the Software and Electrical Product and Process Strategies team.
As an MTM you will have a global role and work in close cooperation with Group Trucks Technology (GTT) safeguarding GTO:s requirements in the ESW development and verification processes with the end goal to ensure a quality secured deliverable. You will also work strategically setting Vision, Roadmaps and initiating corresponding actions.
To enable future technology transfers you will also be responsible for starting/supporting Technology development initiatives. Volvo Trucks is right now in a period where we will focus on disruptive technologies such as Vehicle Automation and Electromobility; this transformation will change how we work with development pushing more AGILE work streams. As an MTM you will be a main contributor setting our future development process. You primary enabler will be to drive global networks where your team jointly set vision, define best practice and consolidate requirements.

Experience and competence
Engineering University degree or equivalent
Proven leadership and networking experience in a multi-cultural environment
You have experience from driving change in a global environment
Manufacturing experience
Project Management experience
Knowledge of ESW Development Process and Produce Process
Experience in VPS tools and practice
As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required
Personal Skills
As a Manufacturing Technology Manager you are expected to be skilled in driving networks and work in teams
You are creative, autonomous and innovative, you have good communication skills and are generous with sharing your knowledge. You have a drive to develop yourself and your surrounding within your area of expertise
