As MS&T Specialist you are accountable for the delivery of projects/programmes on time and on budget, and that impact and changes are effectively communicated to the business.
You will agree project plans including activities, build and lead project teams, communicating roles and responsibilities whilst encouraging teamwork and collaboration amongst the team and business stakeholders, quality assurance, costs, follow project work plans and recommends revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope to ensure timely completion of project and meeting deadlines of project, as well as manage relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure business requirements are effectively captured and committed to project objectives.
You will effectively apply AstraZeneca methodology and enforces project standards, to ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Build project/programme improvement plans and ensures that project teams provide input. Resolve quality and compliance risks and issues, and when appropriate, escalate to MS&T Lead, and manage Steering Group expectations.
Essential Requirements
• Experience in Technology Transfer of drug products
• Experience in GMP environment
• Experience as project leader
Desirable Requirements
• Lean experience, possible blackbelt
• Business related degree

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our new biologics manufacturing plant at Gärtuna, Södertälje as our new Manufacturing Science & Technology Specialist (MS&T Specialist).
The purpose-built facility will supply the next generation of biological drugs from the AstraZeneca pipeline; supporting the acceleration of the biologics portfolio. The new manufacturing plant will focus on the filling and packaging of protein therapeutics for late stage clinical and commercial products.
Our initial plan is to have the first clinical fills in Q4 2018 and first commercial fills in Q4 2019. This site is intended to be the biologics site for late stage clinical and a vast amount of commercial products to increase the biologics manufacturing capacity and meet the needs of the maturing AstraZeneca pipeline. This newly build site will play a big role in our plans for the future.
