hela Sverige You will be in charge of developing, defining and implementing the quality standards, procedures and documentation for supplier quality evaluation and selection, supplier quality agreements etc for Northvolt's raw materials and components, reporting to the Director of Quality. You will also be responsible for reviewing quality of new raw material sources and work with suppliers to follow-up and improve to ensure a flawless transition into manufacturing and supply of our battery cells.
The Supplier Quality Engineer will be an expert in supplier quality management, specifically in Automotive industry, which includes deep knowledge in quality systems, supplier quality manuals, quality process design, continuous improvement, quality control and assurance, supplier quality agreements, process robustness and monitoring of raw material quality performance etc. You will play an important role to lead and co-ordinate raw material quality, collaborating with Northvolt supply chain, R&D and process teams as well as the raw material suppliers.
In general, you have a long experience in supplier quality management and have been driving large, innovative and challenging projects internally and with external partners in the area of quality, qualification, improvements, efficiency and optimization. Specifically, you have a deep understanding of working and cooperating cross-functionally in a multicultural environment with Supply Chain/Procurement, R&D, Production, Process engineering, IT and Automation.
The candidate should be analytical and logical with an ability to identify opportunities and improvements to drive increased quality through data driven approaches. The candidate should have strong technical abilities in order to succeed in this role.

BSc or MSc degree in Physics/Chemistry/Manufacturing/Engineering
Education in relevant quality and industrialization discipline
Experience and specific knowledge of quality management systems, e.g. IATF16949, ISO 9001, TQM
5+ years of relevant work experience within high volume production
Experience of supplier quality management in relevant industry, e.g. Li-ion raw materials, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Food industries
Experience from auditing suppliers
Experience in developing processes, standards, procedures and documentation to support efficient Supplier Quality Management
Project management skills and a successful track record of leading quality improvements in manufacturing and with suppliers
Experience from developing training and certification procedures and programs
Knowledgeable in Lean and six sigma
Familiar with SPC, FMEA, Quality troubleshooting tools and problem solving methodology
Curious, technically educated and preferably with a strong business background
SPECIFIC SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent English written and oral skills, Swedish is a plus
