Are you ready to shape the future of one of the leading coffee chains in the Nordics and beyond?
We are looking for an experienced, visionary Managing Director Operations to join our Top Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO. As MD Operations, you will play a critical role in driving performance, growth, and long-term value across our 500 coffee shops in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Germany, where more than 6,000 employees serve our guests every day.
Your Mission
As Managing Director Operations, you will lead a complex, international setup where operational excellence, leadership, and commercial impact go hand in hand. You will be a key player in shaping and executing company strategy, collaborating closely with the CMO, CFO, CPO, and CSO to align on strategic direction, performance targets, and business transformation.
You will lead:
• Country Operations through five Directors of Operations (one per country), each with a team of Operations Managers driving day-to-day operations and sales performance.
• A Central Operations Team, focused on group-wide tools, standards, and best practices.
What You Bring
We are looking for an inspiring, structured and hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric and customer-driven environment. You have a passion for operational excellence and strong commercial instincts, always with the guest experience in focus.
To succeed in this role, you have:
• Extensive international leadership experience from a similar role in a multi-country, multi-site environment, preferably in the service, hospitality, cafe/restaurant, or franchise industry.
• A proven track record of building strong, scalable, and sustainable operations across countries and teams.
• Franchise experience and understanding of franchise dynamics and partnership models.
• Strong strategic and operational capabilities, with the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term delivery.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a people-first approach and the ability to drive engagement and performance at all levels.
• Outstanding communication skills and fluency in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is a plus.
• Experience working in or with Nordic cultures and a deep understanding of what drives success in this region.
• An adequate academic degree.
