The managing director will be responsible for the overall management of the organisation and the daily operations of the national office.
You will be managing a national team of 3 vice presidents and 8 local chapters at 8 universities across Sweden.
Job description:
• You will be generally responsible for determining the strategic direction of the company and ensuring that strategy is implemented through functional steps. In addition, you will be taking the helm in creating the organisation's culture.
• In your everyday function you will lead a team of 3 full-time VPs along with 8 local branches, and their leadership bodies to ensure the growth and direction of the organisation.
• As a nonprofit executive you will play a large role in planning the strategic direction of the organisation.
Working with your team, which sets the course of the nonprofit, I provide advice on the practicality of the team?s vision and individual wish-list items, based on your knowledge of the organisation?s budget, resources and staff expertise.
Moreover, you will be the liaison between the Advisory Board, the legislative assembly and any manager or director of the nonprofit. This means communicating to the chief financial officer and department heads the goals of the team and developing strategies and tactics to achieve these goals. As a nonprofit CEO you will also ensure with team development, and the development of the local executives.
Your profile:
A university degree - minimum bachelors degree from a university holding an AIESEC chapter.
At least 2 years experience on National level experience in AIESEC or a similar NGO.
Must have worked for AIESEC in Sweden.
Thorough experience in team management.
Multinational experience preferred.
You are familiar systems like EXPA and IMPA.
You are self-driven, enthusiastic, motivational, and have an eye for detail and development.
