Position Description
Service Engineering and Information Management (SEIM) is a department that performs different kinds of service information products. We also provide business value by seeking concepts to minimize unplanned vehicle stand-still time in the workshop, and to explore and develop aftermarket business opportunities given by our products.
Requirement engineering includes building, supporting and validating industrial service requirements for optimal serviceability. Service engineering includes mainly the development of the service methods, standard times as well as special tools.
A vital part of the job is to take part and to drive continuous improvements in steps and in leaps, depending on the situation. You will be reporting to the Department Manager at SEIM in Gothenburg.
Key responsibilities
The assignment as group manager at SEIM GOT includes running the day-to-day operation of planning and follow-up of currently around 10 employees and consultants and bought services to deliver in the areas described above.
Together, you and your team strive to accomplish the set goals and targets and you always work with the customer in focus.
The most important ingredients of your job are to lead, coach and develop your co-workers. You also secure the competence needed for the group members for their assignments.
You are part of the Management team of SEIM GOT to ensure, and deliver according to, well-balanced strategies and targets for the department as well as your group

Qualifications
University level degree in a relevant field or equal through experience
Proven leadership abilities. It is a plus with experience of working in a global organization
Good communication skills in English. Other languages are a merit
Knowledge of Volvo Group- and Group Truck Technology business is a merit
