SSC Satellite Management Services is now hiring a Line Manager for the Mission Solutions team. Mission Solutions is a global team consisting of 11 team members located in three different countries; Sweden, US and Chile. The function of Mission Solutions is to provide technical support to the sales teams i.e. management of proposals and other support related to identified opportunities as well as project management for contracted services and internal projects. The position reports to the Executive Vice President of Engineering.

Your responsibilities:
• General line management responsibilities e.g. recruitment, performance and development discussions, work environment responsibilities etc. according to SSC procedures
• Provide leadership and guidance to your team members
• Manage timelines and priorities for your team and ensure a focus on the customer at all times
• Evaluate current proposal and project processes, procedures and metrics for continuous improvement and provide recommendations to the process owners
You have/are:
• First class leadership and motivational skills
• A passion for inspiring others and put a proud in seeing other people grow
• An ability to change perspective, to see the big picture while still paying attention to the relevant details
• A true team player that can foster and maintain positive relationships with all colleagues in all functions.
• Several years of experience in related positions
• Bachelor's degree or corresponding experience in Engineering or similar technical field is desired
The successful candidate will work out of the SSC Space US office in Horsham, PA or the SSC office in Kiruna, Sweden.
Candidate must be an US Citizen to work in the US offices. EU citizenship with an approved working permit is required to work at the Swedish offices.
