Tasks
Main Circuit Design is an office within the Systems department. The Main Circuit Design office have responsibility for the HV main circuit design of HVDC converter stations. The office consists of around 15 coworkers in Ludvika and some coworkers in India. You will be responsible for the team designing the high voltage systems. This primarily means that your team will be responsible for electrical calculations and simulations for the dimensioning of converter system, including RAM studies. Your responsibility will cover everything from support of our Sales department during the marketing phase, over tenders and order projects, to verifying measurements on the converter sites.
Requirements
To be suitable for this role you need previous experience as manager and/or well proven experience from work within the specific competence area. If you have experience of HVDC technique and the design process for HVDC Projects it is an advantage. You probably have Engineering degree alternatively a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree and preferably a background as Lead Engineer or Project Manager. It is advantageous if you previously have worked within the energy industry and if you have experience of substations, products or HVDC. Fluency in English is required, whereas knowledge of German and Spanish is a plus. On a personal level you have a genuine interest in people and have the ability to encourage your coworkers and make them committed. As a person you are a team player who work in an analytical and structured manner. You take responsibility for your work, your coworkers and deliver on time.
