Position Description
Customer Solutions Global Logistics is looking for a temporary manager for the Logistics Development department, replacing the present manager during her maternity leave, for approximately one year.

In this role you will be responsible for developing the parts and attachment supply chain globally and drive improvements of order- and dealer inventory management processes based on regional requirements. You will drive and support the execution of global strategic logistic initiatives as well as support regional strategic activities.

You will be the line manager for a team of 6 persons and report to Director Global Logistics.

Main Tasks/ Responsibilities
• Drive and support the execution of global strategic logistic initiatives as well as support regional strategic activities
• Manage logistic development road-map and follow up
• Support and develop Volvo CE Dealer Inventory Management processes enabling dealers to provide best in class over the counter availability.
• Support and develop Volvo CE Dealer Parts ordering processes and secure responsiveness to questions.
• Support development of the APS (attachments) solution both material management processes and secure responsivnes to regional questions
• Manage logistic key projects
• Create a strong interface and effective workflow with Regions, ITS and GTO LS
