What will you do?
As Manager for our System Development unit in Sweden you will report directly to the Head of System Development and your mission will be to build a strong Development Unit and manage the capacity of the unit.
You will have liability for the developers and solution architects in our five development teams. You will plan to optimize our development resources in projects and maintenance together with PMO and Team Leads.
The role includes that you continuously make sure that we are open to and adapts ways of work to create a more effective unit. Also, you will secure that the presented solutions are solid and follows our architectural strategies and are in line with the company goals.
You will also be responsible for recruitment within development and solution architecture, including procurement of external competence and capacity when needed. Therefore another responsibility will be to drive the insourcing strategy to create and maintain a good balance between own staff and consultants.
Last, but not least it is your responsibility to secure budget and delivery according to allocation.
To thrive and succeed in your role
To succeed in the role as Manager IT Development it is essential that you have solid experience and knowledge within IT from a management/lead position, with advantage for a similar organization where you have driven IT related quests at a strategic level and were you probably also have built, developed and lead agile teams. The idle candidate has experience of change management and background within development.
A great interest in people and technique is a necessity and so is an open, ambitious and humble attitude towards your fellow colleagues. You are a natural leader with passion for great leadership, in your own leadership you take a coaching approach and support your colleagues in their individual development as well as against team level targets.
Since we are a Nordic organization it is important that you are willing to travel to our Finnish office and also communicates unchallenged in English as well as in Swedish.
But most importantly - you like your colleagues, change, delivering high quality and contribute to create a vivid workplace with space for hard work as well as laughter!
